About the Role
Anthonys Villa is hiring single and house parent couples to serve children aged 4-18 in our community based homes. House Parents are live-in, professional, foster parents who care for the daily needs of the children and youth enrolled in the program, working in collaboration with case workers, social workers, schools, and others, in a team approach following the CARE model.
The Licensed Social Worker (LISW-S) will work with program participants to become their best while performing case management services, behavioral health counseling, and TBS services.
Meets with patients, their families, guardians or agency representatives and completes behavioral health diagnostic assessment. Provides psychotherapy for individuals who qualify for services on site.
Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including malpractice insurance coverage.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide full spectrum case management services for program participants
Coordinate with House Parents/House Mentor Staff/Transportation Team for children to get appropriate care. Ensure that all documentation is attained, recorded, and provided to appropriate parties/entities.
Network in the community with foster and adoptive parents to let them know of our services (including respite care) to increase case loads.
Completes behavioral health diagnostic assessments.
Creates positive relationship with patients, their families, guardians or agency representatives.
Provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families who qualify for services on site.
Advocates and refers individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance abuse/addiction to community agencies for treatment.
Networks with local social service agencies and educational agencies to remain knowledgeable about available services and the referral process for those services.
Provides crisis intervention services on site, as needed.
Frequent contact with staff of community agencies and the general public. Daily contact with agency staff. Must develop and maintain positive relationship with all of the above.
If working in the outreach/school district setting, adhere to district policies and procedures for student referrals, release of student information, and receipt of information.
Supervise LSW, LSW-T, and LISW who are looking to become licensed or level up license.
Other duties as assigned.
Adheres to the standards and policies of the Organizational Privacy/Security and Compliance Programs, including the duty to comply with applicable laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, OIG, guidelines, other State and Federal Laws). This also includes reporting to the Board of Directors, Compliance Officer, Privacy Officer, supervisor, suggestion box, and any suspected unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful acts of practices.
The Social Worker must be a graduate of a Masters Program in Social Work
Licensed to provide services in Ohio as a LISW-S
Able to pass FBI/BCI Background check
Not convicted of any crimes that would exempt from working with children in Foster Care
Be able to bill CMS, Medicare, and join panels of other insurance agencies
Full Time, variable schedule
We are looking to be fully licensed to accept participants in the fourth quarter of 2023. We are looking to identify and extend an offer to a candidate by August 2023 for a start date in October-December 2023. Our time frame is currently dependent on the Council on Accreditation (COA) and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
